Exercise and active play can be really beneficial for Autistic children and young people. As well as building fine motor skills, coordination, movement and strength, the right activities help our children regulate their nervous and sensory systems, decreasing anxiety and improving their ability to focus and learn.
This library (produced by specialist occupational therapist, Catherine Williams and specialist physiotherapist Stephanie Wheen), has lots of ideas, exercises and games to help our children thrive and be active at home.
