What Our Visitors Say
Hear firsthand from the families and children that use Gympanzees on why the Gympanzees centre is needed — and discover just how life-changing it could be for them.

Since 2018, we’ve welcomed over 28,000 visitors across 165 days of Pop Ups. Each family needs Gympanzees for their own reasons — whether that is to access specialist equipment, find a safe space to play and exercise, or connect with others who understand.
These are just some of their stories.
Jacob and Liccy's Story
‘I used to feel like I didn’t fit in anywhere, but Gympanzees is a really safe space to just be yourself. It’s so relaxing and chilled out.’
Arthur and Anna's Story
“For Arthur to finally enjoy soft play is beyond measure – it’s had such a huge impact on us. Just seeing him have fun and feel included means everything. It also gives him a space to practice his walking and develop his coordination.”
Adam and Kelly's Story
“Doing something physically that’s also fun means that you’re getting the best of both worlds.”
Flynn and Jen's Story
‘When Flynn comes here, there’s a real sense of belonging. He’s so relaxed, and it feels so familiar – there’s no pressure to conform in any particular way.’
Beau and Gemma's Story
‘Having a permanent Gympanzees centre would mean that I can be confident knowing there’s always a place where Beau will feel energised and encouraged to try new things.’
Dexter, Roe and Owen's Story
“When you come here, everything is so inclusive that you question, why isn’t everything like this anyway?”
Isabella, George and Emma's Story
‘As a parent, it would be amazing to have a place where you can connect with other families in similar situations, share your stories, and build lifelong friendships.’
Tyler and Leila's Story
‘If there was a permanent Gympanzees, you could be spontaneous – just get up and go, knowing that the facilities you need to get out and about with your child are there.’
Charlie, Millie and Daniel's Story
‘Charlie loves seeing people and being able to try different pieces of equipment that you’d never think of. You get him on it and think, ‘Oh, right, this works!’.’
