That is the feeling the Gympanzees centre is being built to create every single day.

Why this matters
When the centre opens, it will welcome around 200,000 visits every year from disabled children, young people and their families.
It will be a place where families can turn up without worrying about access, equipment or feeling out of place. A place where children can explore movement, play and friendship in ways that simply do not exist elsewhere.
Thanks to an incredible community of supporters, partners and families, we have already raised nearly £8 million, taking Gympanzees from an idea, to Pop Ups, to a permanent home that is now taking shape.
But we are not there yet.
The Supporter Sprint is our 2026 campaign to raise the final £1 million needed as we move closer to opening day.
More than a building
The Supporter Sprint is about creating something that will change everyday life for thousands of families.
It means reducing isolation, creating opportunities, and building a place where children and young people truly feel they belong.
For many families of disabled children and young people, accessible spaces are still far too rare. This centre exists to change that.

“Seeing both children free to just be, with no pressure, was magical. On a usual day, we struggle to leave the house due to high levels of anxiety. Today she zoomed out of bed and shouted ‘Gympanzees!’”
