Celebrating a hubaversary with Old Printworks Arts Hub

It’s been a whole year since Old Printworks Arts Hub in Radstock joined Gympanzees Lending Library as a partner hub, and what a fantastic year it’s been.

Over the past 12 months, this creative community space has helped families in the Radstock access specialist exercise, play and sensory equipment closer to home.

For many families, being able to collect equipment locally makes a huge differenceopening up opportunities for disabled children and young people to try things that support movement, play and sensory exploration.

The Old Printworks Arts Hub is run by the brilliant team at Little Lost Robot CIC, who have created a welcoming space where people can connect through creativity, activities and community. Over the past year it has also become an important part of Gympanzees Lending Library network, helping more families discover equipment that can make play more accessible and enjoyable.

Ruby Sant, Co-Director of Little Lost Robot CIC, shared:

We have loved our partnership with Gympanzees. While small, we see it’s growing and it’s brilliant to know that we can help get vital play and sensory equipment to families in the Somer Valley. Gympanzees is a marvellous organisation and makes such a difference to the lives of families that access it. We look forward to continuing to grow our library usage and to future play days at the Gympanzees centre when open.

Partnerships like this are what make Lending Library possible. By working with welcoming community spaces like the Old Printworks Arts, we can reach more families and make sure more disabled children and young people have the chance to move, play and explore.

A huge thank you to Ruby, Phaedra, Juliet and the team for supporting families and helping us grow the Lending Library in the Old Printworks Arts Partner Hub in Radstock.

Here’s to many more hubaversaries together!
